Toy2r has collaborated with Review Asia (a regional luxury lifestyle magazine) to celebrate the 'Asia's Most Beautiful People 2008' event. 300 of Hong Kong's premier business leaders, VIP's and guests shall be attending the occasion while creating awareness for the Animals Asia Foundation. Toy2r and Review Asia have kindly produced a limited run of our most loved and cherished 2.5 Inch BearbearQ (bearing the logo of Review Asia) and is to be distributed amongst the guests as a complimentary gift for the cause. I will be making a special appearance on the 22nd of November to give an autograph signing to all you lucky Toy2r fans and Qee fanatics in Taipei.

On the 15th of November 2008, Toy2r launched the 'Qee Studio' exhibition at the Hanshin Arena in Kaohsiung city, Taiwan. With over two hundred 8" Qees being displayed the exhibition is divided into three separate parts i.e. Corporate Crossover, Designer D.I.Y and Toy2r merchandise. So if you're in the area a wish to meet the mastermind of the vinyl toy movement; be sure to head on over to the Hanshin department store. The exhibition will continue to be held until the 4th of January 2008.

Fans will see sprouting up across the country as TOY2R settles into its new USA division. The first POP UP STORE EVENT will be taking place NOVEMBER 7th through the 16th in BROOKLYN, NY. TOY2R is partnering up with DBABROOKLYN - the borough's newest lifestyle boutique specializing in deadstock, vintage, rare and specialty footwear for men and women, street apparel, toys and lifestyle goods!

The event will kick off NOVEMBER 7th 2008 at 6:00 pm.
DBA will be getting the party started FRIDAY NIGHT at 6:00 pm with music by DJ Erick LaPeau and DJ Ryo at the DBA BROOKLYN

This unique figure adds custom wings to transform a Kit-Cat Qee into a sci-fi angel, giving way to the exclusive Sky Doll Qee. designed by Sky Doll artists Barbara Canepa and Alessandro Barbucci for Soleil Productions.

this Qee comes in an exclusive box conceived and designed by Matteo De Longis. There will be two versions:

TOY2R ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF TOY2R USA DIVISION

Toy2R, one of the pioneers in the designer toy business, is excited to announce the launch of Toy2R USA. For more then 10 years, the iconic Toy2R Qee brand has been one of the most recognizable platforms in the designer toy genre.

Establishing a US office will allow Toy2R to expand their global presence. The US office will develop additional avenues of distribution so retailers and fans of Toy2R will have better access to products. Toy2R USA will continue to work with established artists and new, creative talent to grow the artistic element of the brand. The expansion will allow for exciting promotional and licensing opportunities, including Pop-Up stores, Toy2R licensed merchandise and a regular presence at designer toy shows, conventions and trade shows.

Toy2R will broaden its licensing program while continuing licensed projects with Diamond Comic Distributors. In 2009 look for new releases of the successful Simpsons Qee Series as well as Playstation’s Little Big Planet and SEGA’s Sonic the Hedgehog Qees (being presented through DCD at the Dallas Toy Fair this week) and many, many more.
